We had a great time shooting some promotional photos to help promote Ally’s singing and acting career. You’ve never heard of Ally? You will. She’s a rising star! Although young in years, Ally has been performing for over a decade. As early as four, she performed in theatre as well as vocal and cello recitals. Soon Ally explored songwriting, and she received state and national recognition and accolades. Twice she received awards from the National PTA receiving a National Award of Excellence for a song written at the age of 9 (one of seven given to students grades K-12).
In addition, she has been an active member of the Port Huron Civic Theatre, appearing in over 20 of their stage shows. The pivot point in her career occurred recently, not within the confines of her familiar venues nor in front of an audience. April 2012 brought her to the home of some of the best blues and rock-n-roll recordings – Sun Studios, Memphis, TN. Performing with uniquely skilled musicians, Ally recorded her first full EP, “Union”. Intertwining her passion for blues, folk, jazz, R&B and country, Ally spun her own unique twist on some already well known music.
