AllisonPINIMAGEThe wet weather on Saturday did not cooperate with Allison and Craig’s plans for a beach-front wedding ceremony, but it did not spoil their amazing day.  The wedding party got ready at the Thomas Edison Inn, and the rain broke just as everyone was leaving and we were able to get some great video footage and photos.  Because of the weather, plan “B” was put into place – to hold the ceremony at Faith Lutheran Church in Port Huron.  Paster Tim Eichberger performed the wedding ceremony.  This was Pastor Tim’s last wedding, he is retiring at the end of the month.  He married Kathy and I almost 18 years ago at Faith.  The weather cleared and they had a gorgeous outdoor reception in a beautiful Golden Crown tent overlooking the beach at Allison’s parents’ home.  Josh and Philip from Bigfoot DJs did an excellent job in orchestrating the main events, and everyone seemed to really enjoy themselves throughout the night!  The Achatz Catering staff provided a wonderful meal and were very efficient in clearing the food serving tables from the dance floor so the party could begin.

One of the events my wife Kathy commented on was during the toasts from the bride’s two sisters.  She said it was touching to see what good friends the sisters were.  We have three daughters ourselves and we can only pray that they make it past the teen years and still consider themselves best friends.

It was a great day, and regardless of the clouds, God’s light was shining brightly to celebrate Allison and Craig’s new life together.[MEDIA=39]

Erin and Justin’s wedding day was beautiful!  Erin got ready at her parents home “Cowhy Farms”.  The wedding was at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in Emmett, Michigan.  We went back to Cowhy Farms between the wedding and reception for some photos and video.  We also shot some beautiful footage at Chrysler Beach along the St. Clair River.  The Port Huron Icehawks Team Bus (Preferred Charters) served as their Limo.  The bus is huge – plenty of room for everyone. Their reception was held at the elegant Alexanders Banquet Hall in Marysville.  The flowers were by Beautiful Beginnings.  Both Erin and Justin are huge Detroit Tiger Fans (Just watch their Love Story Video below).  Josh Pomeroy, from Bigfoot DJ’s brought the wedding party in to the hall with a baseball theme introduction that brought all the guest to their feet cheering.  It was incredibly complex and it was amazing.  A big surprise hit at the reception was when the Tiger’s Mascot, “Paws” made his appearance at the end of the bridal party dance.  Paws danced with the bridal party and guests all night.[MEDIA=38][MEDIA=37]Erin - BridePINIMAGEBride, TigerPINIMAGEFarmer Wedding PhotoPINIMAGEMichigan Beach Wedding PhotoPINIMAGE

Dayna and Michael were united in marriage at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Detroit.   What a beautiful setting!  We thoroughly enjoyed spending the day with the couple and accompanying them to Hart Plaza and the Fox Theater for their photos and video.  The reception was held at the Colony Club in downtown Detroit.  The ballroom looked exquisite!   Their band, Kimmie Horne Productions, played and sang “It’s Your Love” as Dayna & Michael entered the ballroom and danced their first dance as husband and wife.  Kimmie, her fellow vocalists and the musicians made certain the guests were dancing the night away with their exciting blends of Jazz, Pop, R&B and Dance music.   The Colony Club was very well run, and the staff did a wonderful job of taking care of the bride and groom’s family and friends.

Best Wishes Dayna & Mike on this new chapter in your lives together!   Enjoy your wedding video trailer.[MEDIA=35]
