Friday, I shot an interview with Dave Goetze, Red Wings Alumni Operations Manager and the “Captain” Steve Yzerman. Yzerman is longest serving captain in the NHL and the newest member of the alumni. In preparation for the celebration of the 50th Anniversary of the Detroit Red Wings Alumni Association (the oldest alumni in professional sports), I have been shooting interviews with former Red Wing Captains. Wednesday’s interviews were shot in the Alumni Room at Joe Louis Arena with former Detroit Red Wing Captains and Hockey Hall of Famers Ted Lindsay and Alex Delvecchio and Red Wing Greats Mickey Redmond and Dennis Hextall. The DVD is set for release in July at the Detroit Red Wing Alumni Presidents Ball.

Menopause The Musical® is an uplifting 90-minute production includes parodies from the ‘60s and ‘70s and ‘80s. It culminates with a salute to women who are experiencing The Change. Even though it’s cold, it is good to be back in Michigan. I just returned from a long and exciting educational week at WPPI-Wedding & Portrait Photographers International Convention held at the MGM in Las Vegas. I attended many great seminars on creativity and lighting and was able to network with great photographers from all over the world. There were over 15,000 photographers in attendance that were there to sharpen their skill and raise the bar in professional photography. We brought home some new toys from the trade show including a new Nikon Camera. The Blues Traveler concert at the Nikon Party was awesome.
